Nice location with outdoor spaces in a central old town. Excessive prices for food with extremely fluctuating quality served by unprofessional, inattentive, overwhelmed staff. Unacceptable in Corona times: no unsolicited address list, no distances between standing, walking guests, including numerous - as well as some service employees - without a mask! Request to the shift supervisor was ignored.

Excessive price for a poor quality curry including heavily salted French fries. The homemade lemonade was good.

Unfortunately there is no drinks menu! When asked, the staff reacts annoyed but relatively friendly.

Was there with friends. Two had the burger with fries which was absolutely inedible. Burned, cold, dry and the request for medium was not taken into account. The fries tasted like old frying fat. We immediately reported that the two didn't like it. The waitress did not respond to the complaint at all, only denied that not everyone liked the mixture of fries and that the burgers could be put in the microwave again. Both had the dish returned to the kitchen almost untouched. The rest of us had the pasta with chanterelles and the pumpkin lasagne. The pasta was partly raw and the sauce just didn't taste good. When paying we had to pay in full, despite the immediate return of the two burger dishes. They didn't even apologize for that. The fact that there is no drinks menu is also a minus point. 1. You can't remember what the waiters are saying and 2. you have no price control. In any case, we were shocked when our invoice price was announced. Everyone only had one drink, but we still had to pay a hefty price.

The food was very good and the service really friendly. Prices are fair. Great restaurant :)

I always like to come back here: the food is just so fresh and delicious every time and the service is friendly. Atmospheric it is often a bit too cold in the room. That being said, you can have a good time here. Morning, noon or evening. And sitting outside is also wonderful.

Wanted to have a nice drink in the evening and were perplexed: Corona was canceled in the Stahlberg. Hygiene rules? What rules? We didn't have to fill out a slip of paper, the table wasn't disinfected, and nothing else about the toilets needed to be added to the other recessions here. The bartender and the apparent restaurant manager did not wear a mask. The team is lean. Enjoy the meal. I can't understand how you can be so disaffected with your other colleagues, who otherwise manage everything wonderfully. I'm already looking forward to autumn.

Unfortunately very bad service. A bottle of champagne drunk two bottles deliberately billed. Absolute rip off. Hands off!! Especially in the late evening hours.

Good location and you can get a drink. No more and no less. Probably the worst bruschetta I've ever eaten.

I didn't like my pasta at all, the cola was no longer carbonated, price-performance ratio is different. And I have no idea who the pale little dwarf is who looks after the boss, because they have no idea about blowing and blowing (regarding the guests). Bad food, poor service (the other waitress was very friendly after all).

Very nice shop. Food was really delicious, service okay and yes, maybe a little more expensive. But unfortunately I have to agree with a predecessor: it takes your breath away in the toilet. Obviously existing ventilation is not in operation. Pity!

Young and dynamic place where beer is still well spilled. Excellent and abundant German food. Average prices. I advise. Don't miss the duck is exceptional.

A really cozy place to be especially on a sunny day. We had some wine and a Caesar Salad which was absolutely great. Staff was very attentive and the service was lovely. Spent about 3 hrs and it felt very short. Maybe it was coz of the wine. ????

The menu is very interesting. It is different than usual but still very manageable, which I personally like a lot. For me, this is a sign that here more is placed on quality. Except à la carte meals, there are still varied daily specials here. The food is very nice. The taste is mediocre to very good, depending on what you ordered (but you can argue about the taste). And if you choose a place more inside, you can watch the kitchen team at work, as they prepare great dishes from the small kitchen. For amateur cook like me, it is very interesting. The staff are very nice and attentive. Sometimes you are served directly by the boss. I will go there very soon, so I would recommend it here as well.

service is taking too long

Two of us (out of 6) had a meal that was not like it was written in the menu. For me, they did not put bacon on Flammkuchen. They brought 3 strips of bacon when I finished my meal. No apology. Every contact with the waiter was with different person.

Super, friendly service, great menu, local produce, good food. Also an unusually large selection of lesser known, high quality spirits.

My local lunch place, really nice food with a weekly changing menu. Great outside dining. Good value for money and they use high quality products. Very good selection of wines as well. Staff is friendly and professional, although at rush hour times you sometimes need to bring a bit of patience, as it can get very busy.

I have been here twice now and thought the food was good and the staff were very helpful both times. I would recommend this bar to German and British alike.
